About Butterflies Cancer Support Group

Our Meetings

Butterflies is based at Dorchester Community Church, Liscombe Street (next to Damers School), Poundbury, Dorchester, DT1 3DF every Wednesday. It is between 2-4pm and you can drop in for a while or come and stay for the two hours. Our speakers usually come at 3pm, if we have one.

One of the main benefits of a support group is that you can be with like-minded people, everyone supports each other, so it takes away that feeling of isolation and replaces it with feelings of “you are not alone” – we can cry together, but more importantly we can laugh together. And we often do!
