I hope you are all as well as can be expected and are able to look forward to the Christmas period. Now that vaccinations are on the horizon, maybe we can start planning to start up our meetings again sometime next year - here's hoping!
We've received a request from Sarah Beck at Surrey University asking if some of our members would fill in a survey. You need to have been diagnosed within the last 24 months wither either breast, bowel or prostate cancer. Here's the information you need:
NAME: Sarah Beck
I am a health psychology PhD student investigating the role thinking styles may have in the quality of life of those diagnosed with cancer.
The project aims to gain a better understanding of factors that influence how people view their health after a diagnosis of cancer and develop ways in which we can better support those recently diagnosed.
We are looking for those diagnosed with breast, bowel or prostate cancer within the last 24 months to fill out a short online survey (https://apc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsurreyfahs.eu.qualtrics.com%2Fjfe%2Fform%2FSV_aYnKMMghCMPwfTT&data=04%7C01%7C%7Cdabbd651415b4afe9a0208d8951aee06%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637423290179058991%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=XeQmLIRlrr9lJutTwQnoEH0CWoEnjVJ%2B5FLAJZoZexw%3D&reserved=0).
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we would like to hear more about people's experiences after a cancer diagnosis.
Thank you so much.
If any of you could help Sarah by filling in the survey it will also, in the long run, be helping yourselves.
Best wishes and Merry Christmas to you all
